Japanese Gardens, Carmel, IN, Marry Me In Indy! LLC Adrienne and Erich's Wedding Ceremony Script.
Adrianne and Erich picked a date, they picked a time and they chose the one of the most beautiful elopement locations in the area,  the Japanese Gardens next to City Hall in Carmel, IN, When we pick that spot, I always say it's perfect because if it rains, there's a Gazebo right there.  We needed the Gazebo!  It was a very cold and rainy day in April.  Adrianne looked amazing in her sleeveless dress and her hair and makeup professional done but OMG!  It was cold!  It's day's like that one when you want and need love to keep you warm!
Adrianne And Erich's Wedding Ceremony Script
Adrianne and Erich, You have known each other from the first glance of acquaintance to this point of commitment. At some point, you decided to marry. From that moment of yes to this moment of yes,  indeed, you have been making promises and agreements in an informal way. All those conversations that were held riding in a car or over a meal or during long walks - all those sentences that began with "When we're married" and continued with "I will and you will and we will" - those late night talks that included "someday and somehow and maybe"- and all those promises that are unspoken matters of the heart. All these common things, and more, are the real process of a wedding. The symbolic vows that you are about to make are a way of saying to one another, "You know all those things we've promised and hoped and dreamed- well, I meant it all, every word." Look at one another and remember this moment in time. Before this moment you have been many things to one another- acquaintance, friend, companion, lover, dancing partner, and even teacher, for you have of much from one another. Now, you shall say a few words that take you across a threshold of life, and things will never quite be the same between us. For after these vows, you shall say to the world, this is my husband, this is my wife .

Erich, from this day onward, do you choose Adrianne to be your wife, your best friends and your only love?  To live together, play together and laugh together, to work by her side and dream in her arms; to fill her heart and feed her soul: To always seek out the best in her; Always lover her will all your heart, until the end of your forever?  If so, say I do!

Adrianne, from this day onward, do you choose Erich to be your husband, your best friends and your only love?  To live together, play together and laugh together, to work by his side and dream in his arms; to fill his heart and feed his soul: To always seek out he best in him; Always love him will all your heart, until the end of your forever?  If so, say I do!

Please repeat after me:

Adrianne, it is clear to me now that everything in my life has let me to you - I think back on all my choices and consider even the bad ones blessed, because if I had done even one thing differently, I might have never met you and became your best friend and wife.

Erich, it is clear to me now that everything in my life has let me to you - I think back on all my choices and consider even the bad ones blessed, because if I had done even one thing differently, I might have never met you and became your best friend and husband

Eric as you place the ring on Adrianne’s finger, please repeat after me:

I Eric, take thee Adrianne, to be my wife.  To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer, or for poorer, in joy and sorrow, and I promise my love to you.  With this ring, I take you as my Wife for as long as we both shall live.

Adrianne, as you place the ring on Erich’s finger, please repeat after me:

I Adrianne, take thee Erich, to be my husband.  To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer, or for poorer, in joy and sorrow, and I promise my love to you.  With this ring, I take you as my Husband for as long as we both shall live.

You came her today to affirm your love for one another and formally acknowledge that which your hearts already knew, That your lives are meant to be shared as one, that you are stronger together than you are apart, and that , for all your days yet to come, you wish to share together all life’s joys and challenges, committed one to the other.

I now pronounce you husband and wife!
