Welcome to Marry Me In Indy! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! My name is Victoria Meyer and I've been officiating weddings in Indiana for over 13 years. I am a full-time wedding officiant with the knowledge, experience and professional expertise you need for any type of wedding you choose. My husband Peter has joined me as a partner in the business over the past year and is performing civil ceremonies in our office on Monument Circle. We are officially a family business! We are happy to offer a quick and easy civil ceremony service that can also be fun and romantic!
I share a great deal of information throughout my websites but I know your time is valuable. You may be at the clerk's office right now looking for an officiant to marry you immediately, or you may be researching the perfect wedding officiant for your dream wedding a year from now with a professional personalized wedding ceremony script. Some couples dream wedding is a quick civil ceremony today just to get it over with - and that is totally OK!
This page is to give you a quick overview of prices and services with a links to other pages that provide more detailed explanations. I suggest reading through this page first. BUT, if you want to get married NOW - click here
We are open to ALL!
Civil Ceremony or Formal Wedding Ceremony?
We have two very different services that we offer. Quick, easy, and convenient - just make it legal - ceremonies that take the place of a courthouse wedding, and more traditional wedding ceremonies. You may be planning a formal elopement for just the two of you or a formal wedding to celebrate with hundreds of your closest friends!

Everyone wants to know "How Much?" I totally understand that! My prices have always been right about average in the Indianapolis Wedding Officiant market. Some services may cost a little less, others a little more. Every officiant offers something different for the prices they charge. I've done my best to create services that are fairly priced for what we provide with transparent details. For Civil Ceremony services downtown, I'm $40 CHEAPER than the wedding officiant across the street AND we allow you to make an appointment in advance and pay with card. They don't do that. We also allow up to 8 witnesses - 6 sitting or 8 standing. NOBODY else does that at our price point. We are proud and happy we are able to offer that.

Formal Wedding Ceremony
This service includes me performing a pre-written ceremony script off of my website. I have 10 to choose from! You can also create your own wedding ceremony script using my ceremony writing guide. You are also welcome to write your own personal vows to share with each other. I've got a guide for that too! I have a lot to choose from so you are essentially get a ceremony personalized just for you!
If you would like to personalize your ceremony script, you are welcome to provide me with a ceremony script you would like me to perform or we can work together to personalize a wedding ceremony script just for you. I have many resources to work with and experience to draw from! Creating a personalized ceremony and writing your love story into a ceremony script and then practicing that new ceremony before your wedding day literally takes hours. Only having to pay an additional $100 for the service is a bargain!
Other officiants may boast "personalized wedding ceremonies" for each couple. But, I'm completely transparent with 10 formal wedding ceremony scripts, 8 elopement scripts, over 100 alternative options for the individual parts of your ceremony you can choose from to personalize your ceremony yourself. They are literally published for anyone to use. You know exactly what you are getting and what you are paying for.
This is an added service to your formal Wedding Ceremony. I will arrive 15 minutes before your rehearsal and you will have an hour to rehearse. I will either lead your rehearsal or work with the person who is leading your rehearsal.
This is for a simple elopement at your chosen location in Brown County. It may be in Brown County State park or the surrounding area - Story Inn, a rented cabin, etc...
We sign marriage licenses and legally marry you. You must obtain your marriage license from your county clerk first. If you live in Marion County - you obtain your marriage license in the City-County Building. The information on the state marriage license is incorrect. They DO NOT issue marriage licenses at the new Justice Center. The City-County Building is located at 200 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204
We are happy to take pictures with your phone or with ours and text them to you. You can bring your own video equipment too. We have a page of photographers we work with if you'd like to have professional photographs to remember your wedding day. When you contact them, let them know Victoria referred you! You will need to contact them and sign a contract with them independently of your wedding officiant services. You are welcome to hire any photographer you like. These are just suggestions.

Directions during business hours:
Our office is located in Circle Tower on Monument Circle. The address to our entrance is 5 East Market Street. There is a green and gold arch marked “Circle Tower” with gold-trimmed doors. We are inside an office building so Marry Me In Indy! Is not marked on the outside of the building. The entrance is right next to Small Batch Soups and directly across the street from the Chase ATM. Enter the lobby andtake the elevator to the 9th floor. We are in Suite 922.
The building is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:30-5. If the doors are locked or if your appointment is outside of business hours, please text when you arrive and we will come down and let you in.
We do not provide parking. Metered parking is available on the street or in a parking garage. The closest parking garages are on Pennsylvania Street.
We welcome couples from every walk of life. It is the main tenet Marry Me In Indy is built on. I became a wedding officiant so that I can provide a comfortable space for any couple to get married without judgement. This includes more than just the LGBTQ Community. We want couples who may be on the autism spectrum or have friends and family members on the autism spectrum to know they are all welcome. Couples with anxiety - we want to make you comfortable. If English isn't your first language - we get it! Peter is a native of Germany. We had our civil ceremony in Germany before Peter got his Green Card. He's a naturalized citizen now (but still has quite the accent.) We understand the pressures of language barriers and immigration. Interracial couples, age-gap couples, you are welcome here.
We do have a few exceptions.
We welcome people of all religions but we limit our religious ceremonies. We are online ordained ministers so we can legally perform weddings in Indiana. We have not attended seminary. All Civil Ceremonies are non-religious. Peter does not perform any sort of religious ceremony. Victoria has a solid multi-denominational Christian background and is happy to perform Christian, and mixed faith ceremonies. I (Victoria) LOVE Jewish wedding traditions! I do not write or perform sermons or administer holy communion.
I perform simple handfastings but I am not pagan so I do not perform traditional pagan ceremonies.
If you want to use the word "Obey" in your personal vows, that is up to you. We will not.
Please let us know if you prefer non-traditional pronouns before your appointment so we can be ready with proper ceremony scripts to accommodate you. When you are used to saying the same thing day after day a new pronoun and tie your tongue pretty quickly and we may need to practice a few time to be ready!
Victoria is the main wedding officiant. All appointments will automatically default to her. If she is not available to perform Civil Ceremonies - either in the office or mobile civil ceremonies, Peter will be your officiant. This is the way we schedule our business and our family life. If for some reason you need a man to marry you, Peter is only available for simple civil ceremonies. You must let us know when you are booking so we can let you know if we can accommodate your request. We will let you know within 24 hours of booking if we can accommodate your request. If we cannot, we will refund your fee immediately within that 24 hour period. Peter performs a lot of civil ceremonies and is generally in the office on weekends during the busier times of the wedding season. There may be an additional fee to cover the extra gas and parking required to accommodate your request depending on our schedule. Please be advised, we are ordained ministers. Our Civil Ceremony services are completely non-religious. If you have religious reasons for needing a man to sign your marriage license, we understand, however if you need a person completely separate from any religion to sign your marriage license, you will need to find a judge or other legal person to marry you. When we sign your marriage license, we must sign it as an ordained minister and that religious title will appear on your marriage license. That is what gives us legal authority to sign a marriage license in Indiana.
We have over 13 years of experience marrying couples in Indy with reviews and reward to prove it!
