Courthouse weddings are still available in Indiana, it's just not a member of the court performing your wedding ceremony. If you are looking for the convenience of getting your marriage license and getting married in one stop, you can hire us to meet you at the clerk' s office when you are getting your marriage license, we'll sign it, perform a quick ceremony, and you are done! If it's a nice day, we can marry you outside or in a local park.
Our fee to travel to Franklin is $180. We can meet you at the courthouse or in the Johnson County Area for that same price. If you already have your marriage license, we can come right to your home and marry you there!
The $150 price is for simple civil ceremonies, elopements, and small weddings. If you are getting married in a formal wedding venue in Johnson County, the prices start at $250.
We offer a less expensive option in our office. We have $100 Civil Ceremonies in our downtown Indianapolis office, Monday-Friday from 9-4:30 (during regular clerk's hours) For some couples, it is worth it to have us just come to you. Others enjoy a day or night out in Indianapolis. You have choices!

Johnson County Marriage License Information
The Johnson County Clerk does not have an immediate turn around time for your marriage license. They will issue the marriage license, we can marry you right away, you can file the marriage license immediately, but they will not issue you the certified copy in person. Their policy is to mail them. You are legally married as of the time we sign the license, you just won't have the certified copies proving your are legally marred for several days.
