Holliday Park in Meridian Hills is a great location for an elopement in the Indianapolis area. It's northwest of downtown in Meridian Hills off of Spring Mill Road. The ruins were recently renovated to make a beautiful backdrop for pictures, a wedding or an elopement.
The physical address for Holliday Park is 6363 Spring Mill Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46260.

The Ruins in Holliday Park and the area are available for rent for formal wedding ceremonies and receptions. Here is a link for more information if you would like to have a formal wedding there. www.hollidaypark.org/weddings-at-the-ruins/
And Elopement is something completely different from a wedding when it comes to locations. You don't have to reserve Holliday Park for an elopement. It's a public park and free to use. *HOWEVER* because you are using the area for free there is no guarantee the area will be available for you to use anytime you want or that you will have privacy. Always call ahead to make sure there is nothing going on the day and time you would like to elope there. They are very nice!

You can see if there are festivals and events that might get in the way of your elopement. You don't want to get all the way there and realize there is no place to park and 300 scouts are there for a jamboree or something similar.
If you are looking for an indoor locations for a small wedding or elopement Holliday Park has a nature center with rooms that you can rent indoors. I've had couples rent on ahead of time knowing it was going to cold out or that they simply wanted privacy. Other couples have been able to rent a room last minute in the rain. The prices are extremely reasonable. I recommend the library for a small elopement. The auditorium has a huge picture window that makes you feel, at least a little bit like you are outside. My fee to marry you in Marion County is $150.
