Christian Wedding Ring Exchanges

Christian ring exchanges are generally based on religious prayer books.  Most religions use the same basic statement while exchanging rings.  I think you can mix one of these with some of the secular options if you want to give your rings more meaning.  ​

Christian Ring Exchange Option  1

I give you this ring as a symbol of our vows, and with all that I am, and all that I have, I honor you. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. With this ring, I thee wed.

I give you this ring as a sign of my love and faithfulness. Receive this ring as a token of wedded love and faith.

​This ring I give you, in token and pledge of our constant faith and abiding love.

These rings are a symbol of the truth of the vows you have spoken. These rings represent the eternal love of God that lives in you and in the love that you share. As you place these rings on each other's fingers, you are giving them as a symbol of your love and the continuing affirmation of the vows you have spoken and affirmed. ​
