FAQ's
How long does it take to get married in your office?
This whole process takes about 15-20 minutes. Often, it takes less time than that. Some couples are in and out within 5 minutes because they just need to get the legal paperwork and move on. We schedule 30 minutes for each couple. That includes time to arrive, sign your marriage license, perform a ceremony and take pictures. (If you want)
What's the difference between a 30 and a 60 minute appointment?
There is no difference in services. We offer appointments every 30 minutes. If you are late, you might not have enough time to take pictures or have the ceremony you want. Most people know themselves and the people they invite to witness their ceremony. If you KNOW you are going to run late, book a full hour and don’t worry about it. If you are a few minutes late or want more time to take pictures, you have enough time. I married a couple a few weeks ago that booked the full hour. They had little ones and were 20 minutes late. With kids, they knew they would be! They still had plenty of time to get married, and their photographer got great pictures!
What's the Ceremony?
Everyone has a different idea in their head of a wedding ceremony. I think, (I could be wrong) most people think they are going to be required to bow their head and pray, or listen to a long speech. While that is what some people want, WE DO NOT DO THAT! To be legally married, all you HAVE to do is say, "I do." Or something like that, to verbally consent to the marriage. We then pronounce you married. Many times, we do it while we snap a picture of you with the Just Married sign before you run out the door.
We do short and sweet ceremonies!! Peter's ceremony is literally perfect! You can read his ceremony HERE. We may switch it up a little, but it's short and sweet. You can read Victoria's ceremony HERE.

You are not renting the office for 30 or 60 minutes. We are providing 30 or 60 minute appointments, during which you can get married, not have a reception.
Do you get the marriage license for us?
No. Indiana State Law dictates that the two of you must apply for the marriage license and appear at your county clerk to have the license issued to you.
If our marriage license was issued in another county, can we still get married in your office?

If you are BOTH traveling in from out of state, you need to obtain you marriage license from the Marion County Clerk to be legally married in Indianapolis.
