12/15/2022 Do We Need An Appointment To Get Married?Yes. You do need an appointment to get married. But we do have walk-in hours!
We offer walk-in weddings in our office every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30-5. This is only on days the Marion County Clerk is open and issuing marriage licenses. Check our home page for up-to-date walk-in hours. We update them daily and try to give as much advanced notice for when we will be by appointment only. You need an appointment at all other times. We usually have same-day appointments available. Call us at (317)403-7379. If we are not in the office you will need to schedule an appointment with a payment. I've been burned more than once waiting for a couple who said they would be there and then they never show. We can usually be in the office in an hour or so depending on the time of day you call. We have an office in an office building. The building itself is open to the public Monday-Friday from 8:30-5 on regular business days. It is locked at all other times. We are available EVERY day until 8. We just need to let you in the building - So, we need to know you are coming. Comments are closed.

If you have made the choice to use non-traditional pronouns, please let me know, and I will be happy to honor your preferences. Any wedding ceremony script can be changed to reflect your personal preferences. The only second language we speak is German, but we do our best to communicate with everyone.
